The Riverhouse can accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms. The kitchen, living room and veranda provide ample facilities to cater for six guests. Two fireplaces compliment the gas-top stove – to make The River House a caterer’s dream home.
This very spacious room is fitted with queen bed (en-suite) and large french door onto a private veranda and garden.
This room has incredible views of the garden, Berg river and jetties and harbour. Its fitted with large cupboards for a long stay during peak season.
Guest Bedroom (Queen)
This guest bedroom is also fitted with a queen bed for comfort and large build-in cupboard. This bedroom is nearer to the bathroom shared with the Middle Guest Bedroom. This room also has a large window that looks out onto the side of the house, with jetties and the local fishery, harbour and the atlantic in the distance, but most of all the Berg River.

This spacious guest bedroom is fitted with a double bed and build-in cupboard space . A large window looks out onto the side of the house, with jetties and the local fishery, harbour and the atlantic in the distance but most of all the Berg River.
The guest bedrooms share the shower/toilet-room with the 2nd guest bedroom.
The living area features a dining-room table for six, a lounge and a large inside fireplace to slice through the cold of winter or enjoy an inside braai with friends and family. The distinctly West Coast inspired décor makes it feel like you are on the beach watching the yachts go by, even with the blinds closed!
The Riverhouse’s kitchen is modern and fully equipped, with a gas-top stove and oven, microwave oven, toaster, fridge with a freezer compartment and counter space for food preparation. The adjacent scullery has a dish-washing basin, deep freezer and an outside door.
The loft above the kitchen is accessible by stairs leading up from the living room. It features a lounge, a television with surround sound DVD and a separate guest bathroom. This area is perfect for entertaining children during the cold winter months.
Probably the area where guests spend most of their time, the veranda features a large wind sheltered braai and ample space to relax and watch yachts go by on the Berg River. The large wooden deck is perfect for outdoor breakfasts and lazing in the afternoon sun.
